1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Sutram (sutram.io), operated by Sutram Desenvolvimento de Software Ltda., you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not access the service.

2. Description of Service

Sutram is a project collaboration and management platform that allows you to:

  • Create and manage projects
  • Upload and share files and other content items
  • Collaborate with team members via chat
  • Organize content in folders

3. Eligibility

To use Sutram, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction
  • Have the legal capacity to enter into contracts
  • Not be prohibited from using the service under any applicable law

4. Your Account

4.1 Registration

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information
  • Keep your information up to date
  • Immediately notify us of any unauthorized use

4.2 Account Security

You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account. We recommend using strong, unique passwords.

5. Plans and Payments

5.1 Available Plans

We offer different plans with varying storage, bandwidth, and feature limits:

  • Basic: Free, for personal use
  • Pro, Plus, Max: Paid plans with additional features
  • Enterprise: Custom plans for businesses

5.2 Billing

  • Paid plans are billed monthly or annually
  • Prices may change with 30 days' notice
  • Payments are processed by Paddle.com Market Limited (for USD and EUR payments) or Stripe (for BRL payments), which act as our payment processors
  • Taxes. Prices displayed for BRL (Brazilian Real) payments already include all applicable taxes. For USD or EUR payments processed by Paddle.com Market Limited, additional taxes (such as VAT, GST, or sales tax) may be added to the displayed price, according to the tax laws of the buyer's country. Paddle.com acts as the Merchant of Record and is responsible for calculating and collecting these taxes.

5.3 Refund Policy

We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee for your first subscription. If you are not satisfied with the service, you may request a full refund within 30 days of your first payment date, no questions asked.

To request a refund, go to the Subscription page in your account settings and use the refund request form. When submitting your request, we ask that you share the reason so we can continuously improve our service.

5.4 Cancellation and Renewals

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period. You may cancel your subscription at any time before the renewal date through the Subscription page in your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period, and you will continue to have access to your plan's features until that date.

Since you have full control to cancel before any renewal, recurring charges are not eligible for refunds.

5.5 Usage Limits

Each plan has storage, bandwidth, and maximum file size limits. Exceeding these limits may result in temporary restrictions until the next billing cycle or plan upgrade.

6. User Content

6.1 Ownership

You retain all rights to content you upload to Sutram. By uploading content, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display that content as necessary to provide the service.

6.2 Responsibility

You are solely responsible for the content you upload and warrant that:

  • You have the necessary rights to the content
  • The content does not violate third-party rights
  • The content is not illegal or harmful

7. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to use Sutram to:

  • Violate any applicable law or regulation
  • Upload illegal, defamatory, or obscene content
  • Distribute malware or malicious code
  • Attempt to access other users' accounts or data
  • Overload or interfere with the service's operation
  • Collect data from other users without consent
  • Use the service for spam or unsolicited communications

8. Suspension and Termination

8.1 By You

You may cancel your account at any time in the settings. After cancellation, your data will be deleted according to our Privacy Policy.

8.2 By Us

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, with or without prior notice, depending on the severity of the violation.

9. Limitation of Liability

Sutram is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • We do not guarantee the service will be uninterrupted or error-free
  • We are not liable for data loss
  • Our total liability is limited to the amount paid in the last 12 months

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Sutram harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:

  • Your use of the service
  • Violation of these terms
  • Violation of third-party rights

11. Changes to Terms

We may modify these terms at any time. Significant changes will be notified via email or a notice on the service with at least 30 days' advance notice.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Brazil. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts of São Paulo, SP, Brazil.
